Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE | Full-Time

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Equine and Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an established, forward-thinking mixed veterinary practice in Dundee, Scotland.

The role offers a varied caseload across equine, farm animal and smallholder work, alongside an experienced and supportive team. Ideally suited to an MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with equine and farm animal experience, the position provides excellent clinical development opportunities and a genuine focus on work-life balance.

The successful Veterinary Surgeon will work across Tayside, Angus and Fife, becoming part of a well-established, multi-branch mixed practice.

The Rota

The team shares the rota fairly, with a strong focus on work-life balance. Benefits include:

• Protected time off following night on-call

• Monday off following a weekend on-call
• Out-of-hours telephone support

Facilities & Support

The practice provides modern facilities, including in-house equine stables and stocks at two locations, an in-house laboratory, mobile digital X-ray, equine ultrasound, respiratory scope and fertility testing equipment.

Visiting specialists also provide additional clinical expertise and help reduce the need for external referrals.
