The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) is seeking a Nurse or Midwife to join the specialist nursing and midwifery team within the acute Gynaecology service. The role supports patients with acute Gynaecology symptoms and early pregnancy complications as part of the Same Day Emergency Care pathway.
The post is offered part-time at 22.5 hours per week and does not qualify for sponsorship due to part-time hours.
An opportunity has arisen to join the specialist nursing and midwifery team within the acute Gynaecology service at PAHT. The role supports delivery of care to service users experiencing acute Gynaecology symptoms and pregnant people with complications of early pregnancy as part of the Same Day Emergency Care pathway. The post holder will work closely with medical colleagues and the main ultrasound department as well as the wider Trust to ensure service users receive timely, compassionate and person centered care.

The post holder will be responsible for managing their own workload, prioritising tasks effectively and ensuring care is initiated and delivered in a timely manner. They need to work independently at times, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to high standards. The role may require occasional cross cover of the hysteroscopy and colposcopy outpatient service.
