Greene King Corporate - Bra_001 is seeking an Enterprise PMO Planning Manager to shape strategic change across the business. You will translate Phase 0 concepts into defined, investable initiatives and work with senior leaders to maximise value from strategic investments.

The role requires strong strategic planning, portfolio management and business analysis skills, with proven ability to develop business cases and facilitate executive decision-making. A May–August start is anticipated in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise PMO, strategic planning, portfolio management or change environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex information for executives.
• Proven ability to develop business cases, investment proposals or prioritisation frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management and organisational change.

• Shaped Phase 0 initiatives into ready-to-deliver options with defined scope, risks and success measures.
• Lead workshops with senior stakeholders to clarify opportunities and create decision-ready recommendations.
• Support enterprise planning and prioritisation by assessing alignment and interdependencies.
• Develop initiative briefs and assist business case development for informed decisions.
• Ensure smooth transition into delivery with clear readiness criteria and handovers.

As an Enterprise PMO Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Greene King’s strategic change portfolio. Sitting within our Group Planning, Delivery & Change function, you’ll turn emerging Phase 0 strategic ideas and opportunities into well-defined, evidence-based initiatives that are ready for prioritisation and delivery. Working closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional experts, you'll provide the insight, challenge and assurance needed to maximise the value of strategic investment across the business.

Qualifications

• Lead the shaping and development of strategic initiatives, defining high‑level scope, requirements, risks, dependencies, resource implications and success measures before delivery begins.
• Facilitate collaborative workshops with senior stakeholders to clarify business opportunities, challenge assumptions and create decision‑ready recommendations.
• Support enterprise strategic planning and prioritisation processes by assessing strategic alignment, identifying interdependencies and evaluating investment options.
• Develop initiative briefs and support the creation of business cases, enabling informed investment and prioritisation decisions.
• Ensure effective transition into delivery through clear readiness criteria, structured handovers and continuous improvement of Phase 0 initiative shaping processes.

What you'll bring…

• Experience in Enterprise PMO, strategic planning, portfolio management, business analysis or change environments within a complex organisation.
• Strong commercial, analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear executive‑level recommendations.
• Proven experience developing business cases, investment proposals, prioritisation frameworks or portfolio analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with confidence engaging and influencing senior leaders.
• Knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management, business analysis and organisational change, with relevant professional qualifications desirable.
