Job summary

Hydram Engineering in Chilton, County Durham, seeks an ERP & Business Systems Specialist (Manufacturing) to lead the Epicor Kinetic ERP implementation. You’ll work within a small IT team to analyze requirements, map functionality, and tailor Epicor to our manufacturing processes.

This full-time contract role (18 months, possible extension) offers £50,000–£65,000 DOE, site-based with limited hybrid options, and the chance to shape go-live activities, data migration, testing, training, and

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments with business systems
• Ability to create queries and reports from business systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand legacy IT systems quickly
• Ability to work in a multifunctional project team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and map them to Epicor Kinetic capabilities
• Identify functionality gaps between legacy systems and Epicor
• Customise the Epicor system to meet business needs
• Create custom BPM rules, BAQs and reports
• Customise the user interface
• Oversee and verify data transfer from legacy systems
• Test and pilot the new system across scenarios
• Help optimise system performance
• Create SOPs and train end users
• Support go-live planning and delivery
• Provide post-implementation support
• Identify opportunities for future improvements
