Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting for an experienced European Patent (EP) Paralegal to join a pharmaceutical company on a 12-month contract. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in the Bracknell office, Berkshire.

Your background includes at least 2 years as an EP Paralegal or IP support, with knowledge of European patent processes, EPO procedures, EPC, and experience using docketing systems such as Anaqua/MyEPO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a European Patent Paralegal or IP support role.
• Strong understanding of European patent applications and EPC procedures.
• Experience managing deadlines and data across a large patent portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming European patent correspondence and record deadlines in the IP docket.
• Monitor EPO deadlines across prosecution, grant, opposition, and validation.
• Liaise with internal patent attorneys and external law firms to progress EP filings.
• Prepare and file documentation using EPO Online Filing 2.0 and MyEPO.
• Support oppositions and other EPO proceedings with procedural documents.
