Job summary

BP plc in the United Kingdom seeks an EOR Specialist to develop, evaluate and support deployment of enhanced oil recovery technologies across upstream assets.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design lab studies, pilot designs, field trial planning and technology deployment readiness, translating asset challenges into practical options.

This role requires autonomy, strong technical judgement and a track record in EOR or related subsurface technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent).
• Experience in EOR, reservoir recovery tech, reservoir engineering or related subsurface tech.
• Strong understanding of porous-media flow and deployment drivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, screen and mature EOR concepts, workflows and technologies.
• Lead or contribute to studies across chemical, gas, water-based and conformance processes.
• Design, supervise and interpret lab, modelling and data evaluation programmes.
