There is an initial training period of approximately 3 weeks, which must be completed on a full-time basis.

Candidates who have applied within the last six months and were not successful should not reapply for this position.

The over-riding aim is to appropriately and safely reduce 999 ambulance demand and A&E admissions. The candidate will be an integral part of the evolution and establishment of a Regional CAS that will develop a multi-disciplinary approach to 999 call interception as well as routine triage of non-emergency 999 calls. The successful applicant must hold an NMC nursing registration OR HCPC registered paramedic.
You'll have the opportunity to work in one of the most diverse regions in the country, with the vibrant capital city just a stone's throw away and the invigorating North Sea coast to the east.
