Electricity North West is seeking a Trainee Engineer to join their team. This role offers a one-year intensive training program, leading to responsibilities in project delivery on electrical infrastructures. The candidate will receive training in low to extra high voltage and have opportunities for career development in a dynamic environment.

We are a commercial organization generating leads from multiple clients, including DNOs, private commercial entities, NHS, airports, and large manufacturing customers operating in a commercial environment.
About The Role
As a Trainee Engineer, you will hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a HNC in Electrical Engineering with previous engineering experience), with skills transferable to our business. You will undergo a one-year intensive training program to familiarize yourself with Electricity North West, including our electrical engineering contracting business, working on public and private networks from low to extra high voltage, designing, and constructing electrical infrastructure and generation.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will be employed in a design or project role, responsible for delivering a varied portfolio of work on LV & HV distribution networks, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality targets, and comply with health and safety legislation and company standards. You will have opportunities for further on-the-job training, as well as technical, commercial, and leadership development courses tailored to your personal growth plan.
