Salesforce Release Manager – Automotive Brand (National)

I'm currently working with a nationally recognised automotive brand who operates worldwide and is fully invested in Salesforce and its latest tech with plans to implement Agentforce and Data Cloud early 2026. As a Salesforce Release Manager you'll own the end‑to‑end release management lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality, timely, and secure Salesforce deployments. You will coordinate across admin, development, QA, and DevOps teams to manage release schedules, environments, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the Salesforce release calendar, coordinating with stakeholders across teams.
• Plan, schedule, and control releases across Salesforce orgs (e.g., sandbox, UAT, production).
• Work with developers, admins, and DevOps engineers to package and deploy changes using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or similar.
• Facilitate release‑related meetings, including go/no‑go calls and post‑release reviews.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Salesforce release management or environment management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, metadata types, and deployment tools.
• Hands‑on experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins).
• Solid knowledge of change and release management best practices (e.g., ITIL).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, DevOps Center training).
