Job summary

State Street’s Alpha team in the UK seeks a seasoned leader to drive environment and data strategy for our front-to-back servicing platform across global clients. This role requires strong program management, architecture design, and stakeholder engagement at executive levels.

You will manage end-to-end programs, lead regional teams, and deliver strategy documents, playbooks, and data insights while advancing client relationships and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 15+ years in financial industry across front, middle, and back-office systems.
• Strong environment strategy, architecture design, data mining, ETL, and visualization/reporting tools.
• Experience integrating with industry providers for platform interoperability (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end environment and data strategy programs onboarding new clients onto State Street's front-to-back platform.
• Lead regional and functional teams for workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture.
• Create and deliver internal and client-facing documents (strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, data insights).
• Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships, and manage client stakeholder expectations.
• Lead various stages of the implementation lifecycle across multiple simultaneous global clients.
• Support business development and sales through consultative client engagement.
• Provide regular status updates and support program management reports as needed.

Who we are looking for

The Alpha Professional Services team in the UK is looking for a qualified individual to lead our environment and data strategy workstream. This individual must bring strong experience in end-to-end environment strategy, architecture and workflow design, data analysis and business system flows in order to create and execute environment designs for our industry leading front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate must be skilled in managing multi-year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office operating models in both an insourced and outsourced model. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, technical architecture knowledge and understanding of global portfolio management, trading, and compliance functions across asset classes. This position will interact with, and demand exposure to the highest levels of executive management within State Street and within our clients' organizations.

What you will be responsible for

• Lead various stages of the implementation lifecycle across multiple simultaneous global clients

• Support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement

• Provide regular status updates and support program management reports as needed

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above. 15+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services and data domains.

• Technology background and CFA/ FRM charters are highly appreciated.

• Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience.

• Strong experience in data mining, ETL experience platforms, data visualization/ reporting/ presentation tools. Exposure to messaging protocols, public/ private cloud platforms and EDMs

• Experience integrating with other industry providers/ consulting partners to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deliotte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software)
