A major water services company is seeking an Environmental Waste Resources Technician to improve waste management processes and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves both office and site work with responsibilities including audits, waste classification, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in waste management, strong communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater services company and is looking to grow its new Environmental Compliance Team to help achieve the aim of sending zero waste to landfill.
This team sits within the Operational, Logistics and Incident Management area of the business and will give an opportunity to improve environmental, operational and financial efficiency for Thames Water.
The role is varied, with no two days being the same. Your time will be split between office and site, and you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of waste streams, including sewage grit, sewage screenings, chemicals, spent activated carbon and many more!
Location: Didcot Regional Distribution Centre, Oxfordshire. Travel is required across our operational sites.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week.
