Location: Bradford, hybrid working (1-2 office days/week)

Work type: Permanent, 37 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

We have an exciting opportunity for a DPC Environmental Strategy Manager to join the Regulatory Environmental team at Yorkshire Water and help us provide the best service to our customers.

Where You Fit In

As our DPC Environmental Strategy Manager, you will:

• Ensure compliance with statutory environmental considerations and identify opportunities for environmental enhancement.
• Coordinate environmental dependencies across DPC projects.
• Manage documentation for regulatory submissions, including RAPID gateway submissions and Ofwat DPC stages.
• Establish governance and assurance processes for environmental activities.
• Manage risks, issues, and opportunities within environmental activities.
• Participate in DPC leadership meetings to track progress and escalate issues.

Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of the SRO process and Rapid Gateway requirements for environmental components.
• Experience in developing environmental scopes and report writing.
• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of UK water policy and environmental legislation.
• Experience in regulatory liaison and management.
• Ability to work across teams and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Problem-solving attitude.
