Job Description:

Senior Environmental Advisor - Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy, supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction goals, customer expectations, ISO14001 standards, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability matters.
• Define environmental assurance regimes and support audit and assurance practices.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
• Develop and maintain performance data, and generate carbon management reports.
• Conduct reviews of environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
• Support project teams to embed sustainable practices throughout project life cycles.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Minimum Requirements:

• PIEMA qualification
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
• Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice
• Proven track record in reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure
• Experience managing complex projects related to technical change and improvement
• Full driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide
