Job summary

Almac Group is seeking an Environmental Placement Student to join the Central Services team in Craigavon. You will support the Environmental team in monitoring, data analysis and regulatory compliance, gaining hands-on experience with ISO 14001, waste management and sustainability reporting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English are required.
• A-Level pass in a science subject is required.
• Currently studying Environmental Sciences or Sustainability with two years completed by end of year.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental monitoring and data analysis activities.
• Assist in maintaining the environmental management system (ISO 14001) and waste management processes.
• Support sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance tasks.

To support the Environmental team in the delivery, maintenance, and improvement of Almac’s environmental management system, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities. The placement offers hands‑on experience in environmental monitoring, data analysis, environmental management systems (ISO 14001), waste management, and sustainability reporting.

What you need to be successful

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) with a pass in a Science subject.
• Currently studying an Environmental Sciences or Sustainability based degree with successful completion of 2 years by the end of this academic year.
