Job summary

MTR Partnership is seeking an Environmental Manager to join their Northwest construction team with Midlands coverage. Based in Cheshire with regular site travel, you will oversee environmental controls and ensure compliance with regulations across projects in the region.

You will work with site teams to develop and review environmental plans, assess effectiveness of measures, and provide guidance on legislation and registrations to maintain high standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing environmental controls and management systems in construction.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and regulations relevant to site operations.
• Willingness to travel regionally (North West, Midlands) and work from multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness and suitability of environmental control measures across sites.
• Provide site teams with guidance on environmental legislation, regulations and requirements.
• Assist with developing and reviewing site-level environmental plans, including aspects and impacts registers.
