Job summary

A local authority in the UK is seeking a dedicated individual for cemetery operations, responsible for burial plot preparation and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will operate grave digging machinery and comply with Health and Safety regulations while communicating effectively with the public. Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Passionate about taking pride in work to deliver burial plot preparation and grounds maintenance at cemetery grounds and various sites, including parks.
  • Skills and experience to handle and operate grave digging machinery with relevant certification (Cemetery Operative Training Scheme accreditation) and follow Health and Safety requirements when assessing risk and undertaking your work.
  • Ability to communicate with members of the public, funeral directors, administrative staff and handle sensitive situations.
