Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a Laboratory Assistant at our UK site to perform routine laboratory analyses and provide analytical support to standard methods. You will contribute to health, safety and environmental compliance while ensuring accurate results for waste, process residues, stack gases and effluent.

The role requires a degree in Chemistry, high attention to detail, good computer literacy and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory analysis and provide analytical support to standard methods.
  • Health, Safety and Environmental awareness.
  • Comply with all EPR permit and COMAH Safety Report conditions.
  • Routine analysis of waste and compliance samples, documenting and reporting results.
  • Routine sampling and analysis of process residues, stack gases, effluent, and report results.
  • Preparation and verification of Laboratory analytical standards.
