Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Deeside Environmental laboratory. You will join a small team to prepare and analyse routine and non-routine samples using a variety of techniques, following laboratory procedures.

The role involves preparing samples from soils, waters, and related materials, supporting method development, and ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO 17025 standards. Excellent attention to detail and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Experience in ISO 17025 environment is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse routine and non-routine samples for Dioxins, Furans, PCBs and PAHs.
• Prepare send-out packages for client shipments.
• Prepare calibration standards and QA samples.
• Carry out analyses following validated methods and report results.
