Qualifications

• Good knowledge of hazardous waste.
• Experience of Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Technically competent in handling Hazardous Chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Analyse incoming loads and designate process routes.
• Operate laboratory processes safely using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ensure documentation for all incoming and outgoing loads.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide analytical information to optimise processing efficiency.

Skills

Knowledge of hazardous waste

Strong communication skills

Ability to work effectively within a team

Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to assess safety/environmental impacts
