Job summary

Colten Care is recruiting for an Environmental Health Technician in the Army context, focusing on protecting troops’ health and wellbeing and advising commanders on environmental health and occupational hygiene.

The program includes 14 weeks initial military training at Pirbright or Winchester, followed by a three-year path to a BSc (Hons) Environmental Health and NEBOSH/ BPCA qualifications, with ongoing postgraduate options.

Qualifications

• 104 UCAS points from 2 A Levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies.
• GCSE Grade A-C/9-4 in English Language, Maths and two sciences.

Responsibilities

• Advise commanders on environmental health and occupational hygiene.
• Perform reconnaissance to assess location risks and health protection needs.
• Support training and progression towards civilian-recognised qualifications.
