PT Renewables is exclusively partnered with a established and growing energy design and construction business in the South-West.

Due to their continued success, they are looking to bring onboard a brand-new Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor - delivering H&S advice to multiple clients across the South-West.

The Role

As a SHE Advisor, you’ll be the go-to person for all things Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability across multiple sites.

This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your work directly shapes the wellbeing of teams and the success of projects.

You’ll lead by example - promoting best practice, guiding teams through audits and inspections, and ensuring every project meets and exceeds our SHE standards.

And with a strong focus on sustainability, you’ll also play a key role in driving initiatives like carbon reduction, waste minimisation, recycling, and energy efficiency.

Your day-to-day
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all SHE matters on site.
  • Conducting inspections and audits to uphold our high safety and environmental standards.
  • Supporting teams with risk assessments, method statements, and incident investigations.
  • Using our Digital Management System (DMS) and dashboards to track and improve performance.
  • Collaborating with our SHEQ team to ensure legal compliance and company standards are met.
About you
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and current environmental legislation.
  • A valid CSCS card.
Bonus points if you also have:
  • A Fire Risk Assessment Certificate or IEMA Environmental Management Certificate.
  • An NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice.
  • Membership of IOSH, IIRSM, or IEMA.
  • First Aid or Mental Health First Aider certification.
The Package
  • Up to £40,000 base salary
  • £5,000 car allowance
  • Fully expensed travel to any sites
  • Pension, healthcare, discounts and more

This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience looking to take that next step - gaining real ownership of SHE and sustainability responsibilities across a variety of exciting, forward-thinking projects.
