A local council in the United Kingdom is looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Protection Team. The role involves managing statutory duties and a personal caseload, and offers both office and home-based working arrangements. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Environmental Protection Team following a full team restructure. This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Environmental Health Officer or an experienced Environmental Protection Officer.
We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and confident individuals with drive and determination. The roles will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire.
You would be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations. You will be responsible for your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.

You will require a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a level 5 qualification/HND/Degree preferably in an environmental science related subject along with additional relevant qualifications and extensive experience within the Environmental Protection field.
