Environmental Health Officer - Ref: EE08825

Salary: G9 £42,839 - £46,142

Contract: Full Time - 37hours

A car mileage allowance is applicable for this post.

Office Location: Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, and home (blended working), or as otherwise directed.

What are we looking for?

Walsall Council is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to work in a busy team delivering a wide range of regulatory and advisory activities, covering food safety, occupational health and safety, infectious diseases, animal licensing, and public health promotion, with domestic and industrial nuisance complaints outside the scope of this role.

About you

Applicants must hold a recognised diploma, degree, or MSc in Environmental Health and possess full registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or as a Registered CIEH Environmental Health Practitioner or equivalent.

A full clean UK driving license is required for this role.
