Kent County Council is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer for its Private Sector Housing team in Kent. The role is a 6-month contract with hybrid working—averaging 2 days in per week—and a target of up to £50 per hour (umbrella) for full-time hours of 37 per week.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate housing complaints, improve housing standards, and take appropriate enforcement action where required.
• Manage and enforce housing licensing responsibilities, including HMOs, caravan sites, and monitoring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Conduct inspections and investigations, gather evidence, prepare legal cases, and support enforcement through notices, penalties, and court proceedings.
• Support wider housing and public health initiatives, including Disabled Facilities Grants, empty homes, planning consultations, partnership working, and reporting to members and stakeholders.

I am currently working exclusively with Kent based council who are recruiting for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join their Private Sector Housing team.

• Up to £50p/h (Umbrella)

• Hybrid working (flexible but averaging 2 days in per week)
• Start ASAP
