Qualifications

• Qualified Environmental Health Officer registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or the Environmental Health Practitioner Register (EHPR).
• Or other qualifications as defined in statute to carry out Environmental Health functions.
• Relevant qualification plus 2 years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and regulating permitted industrial processes.
• Providing specialist advice on noise and pollution for planning applications.
• Investigating complaints relating to permitted processes.
• Working with businesses, residents and partner organisations to improve environmental outcomes.
