Environmental Health Food Officer – Greater Manchester (Contract)

A local authority in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced EHORB Registered Environmental Health Food Officer to undertake food hygiene inspections, ensuring businesses comply with relevant legislation.

This is a great position to fit around your full-time role on evenings or weekends or as a full-time contract.

The Council has approximately 150 food inspections scheduled for completion by a contractor. Each inspection will be remunerated at a rate of £45. The appointed contractor will receive an initial list of 50 inspections to be completed for the year and will be provided additional 100 inspections in January. Contractors must submit a minimum of 10 inspections per week. Inspection paperwork must be submitted within five working days to our support team, who will process and input the data. Payment will be authorised upon receipt of completed documentation.

  • Recent experience conducting food hygiene inspections within a local authority setting
  • EHORB Registration
