Job summary

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is seeking an Environmental Health Officer to contribute to regulatory and advisory services that protect public health and support local businesses.

You will join a busy, supportive team, with opportunities to investigate complaints, conduct inspections, and prepare reports while engaging with residents and partner agencies to resolve complex issues. Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Environmental Health required
• Registration with Environmental Health Registration Board required
• Experience delivering Environmental Health services preferred
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement practices
• Experience managing complex cases and investigations
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to make sound professional judgments and decisions

About The Role

As an Environmental Health Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of a wide range of regulatory and advisory services.
