Job summary

Xodus Group is seeking graduates and consultants to support a broad range of marine environmental projects across the UK and internationally. The roles span from early concept to decommissioning within the Environment Team, offering exposure to offshore energy sectors and multi-disciplinary teams.

You will work on desktop studies, fieldwork, data analysis, EIA reporting, and budget management, with structured training and mentoring to accelerate career development from day one.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2.1 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (such as marine biology/ecology, environmental science/management, marine planning, engineering)
  • Commitment to developing your technical knowledge and a positive approach to professional development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative, innovation and passion
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience of other software or digital skills is beneficial)

Job description

Location – London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen

As we continue to grow the support offering to the offshore energyindustry, we are seeking candidates for Graduate and Consultant level roles in the Environment Team, depending on experience.


The successful candidatewill support a variety of marine infrastructure consenting projects for a range of clients across the UK and internationally.You will work across different technical subjects, in multiple industries, including but not limited to oil & gas, ports & harbours, cables and interconnectors, and offshore renewables, across the full project lifecycle; from early concept, through operations, to decommissioning.


Day to day activitiesarevaried and include;



  • Desktop studies;

  • Offshore environmental fieldwork;

  • Analysis of environmental data;

  • Environmental impact assessments;

  • Preparation of clear and concise environmental reports; and

  • Project and budget management.


Youmay also undertake project management responsibilities and managing budgets, dependent on experience.


As a valued member of the team, youwill be supported and mentored on the development of your career and will be given responsibility and purpose from day one. Within the roleyouwill be given structured training on different industries that we work in (and synergies between them), on specific environmental technical topics, and project management.


Required Qualifications/Skills/Competencies
