Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Engineer based near Manchester to join a team delivering remediation schemes, site investigations, and environmental reports across the UK. You will work on Phase 1/2 investigations, monitoring, and permits, with opportunities to develop your career in a dynamic contractor environment.

Travel frequently to projects nationwide is expected; a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

This is a great opportunity for an Environmental Engineer based near Manchester and willing to travel frequently for work to join an industry leading team of ground investigation, remediation, and contaminated land contractors on a variety of new and exciting projects around the UK. This Environmental Engineer role will involve:

Therefore, to be considered for this Environmental Engineer role you should have experience in the remediation or geo-environmental industry, have or be working towards an environmental/engineering related degree, be willing to travel and work away from home frequently, have an understanding of health and safety practices and hold a full UK driving licence (essential). A full right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Manchester is also required.
