Job summary

Kingdom Local Authority Support is seeking an Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to head frontline operations across East Lindsey, combining enforcement duties with team leadership to improve service delivery and compliance.

You will supervise officers, issue FPNs, drive performance, prepare reports, and represent the team to the Local Authority, with a company vehicle provided to support daily enforcement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or team-leader role is essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance standards.
• Good organisational, administrative, and reporting skills are needed.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently using initiative.
• Comfortable working outdoors and conducting foot patrols.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Must be aged 21 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements.
• Basic DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Leading from the front by carrying out enforcement duties and issuing FPNs.
• Monitoring team performance, conduct, and daily operational activity.
• Supporting effective delivery of environmental enforcement services across East Lindsey.
• Acting as a key point of contact for the Local Authority and other stakeholders.
• Investigating complaints and responding to public concerns professionally.
• Producing reports, statistics, and supporting FOI requests.
• Training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Ensuring compliance with current legislation and company procedures.
• Preparing case files and liaising with legal teams when required.
• Supporting audits, documentation management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Driving a company vehicle as part of daily operational duties.
