Qualifications

• Experience of working in an environmental role within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of UK environmental and permitting legislation.
• Competent in interpreting technical documentation, planning conditions and consent requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site monitoring programs (air, water, noise & biodiversity).
• Ensuring compliance to environmental legislation and company policies.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing Construction Environmental Plans.

Skills

Working knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

Strong understanding of UK environmental and permitting legislation

Experience in developing & implementing Environmental Management Plans

Competent in interpreting technical documentation

Education

Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or similar

ISEP/EIMA membership or working towards it
