Job summary

Galliford Try Plc is looking for an Environmental Advisor to support the Framework HS&E Manager in delivering environmental excellence across projects. You will implement environmental strategy, ensure compliance, and drive improvements from planning through completion, working with operational teams and suppliers.

The role requires NEBOSH Certification (or working towards) and hands-on environmental delivery across project lifecycles, with travel to sites and strong MS Office reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders.
• Good understanding of environmental legislation and risk management.
• Experience delivering environmental guidance across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of environmental strategy across the framework and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical environmental advice to operational and site teams.
• Ensure Environmental Management System is implemented in line with requirements.
• Lead site inspections, environmental reviews and audits (ISO 14001).
• Produce monthly environmental performance reports and manage incidents.
