Job summary

A leading water company in Coventry seeks a Technical Support – Environment & Water Quality to support nationally significant water infrastructure projects. This role involves delivering investigations, engaging with stakeholders, and managing technical work packages. Ideal candidates will have experience in infrastructure planning, strong analytical abilities, and be working towards chartership. Qualifications

  • Experience in infrastructure planning/design, SEA/EIA, HRA, WFD or environmental permitting.
  • Ability to interpret technical reports for diverse audiences.
  • Track record of working with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in EIA, DCO and/or WRMP processes is beneficial.
  • Working towards chartership or already chartered.
  • Hold a full U.K driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver environmental and water quality investigations for SRO schemes.
  • Engage with regulators and stakeholders for compliance requirements.
  • Manage technical work packages delivered by consultants.
  • Conduct high-level environmental screening and assessments.
  • Analyze sampling and survey data.
