Job description

Woking Borough Council is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our dedicated Environmental Health Team. This is afull-time, permanentposition offering a varied and rewarding workload.

About the Role

Reporting to the Principal Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing public health across the Borough. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert advice and guidance to residents and businesses
• Conducting inspections and investigations
• Taking appropriate enforcement action across all areas of environmental health

We are looking for someone with broad experience in Environmental Health, includingfood safety,health and safety, andpollution control. The role suits a confident and proactive individual with strong investigative, written, and customer service skills. You should be comfortable working with diverse client groups and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Afull, valid UK driving licenceis essential for this role.
