PE Global is currently recruiting for an EHS Projects Support contractor on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing organisation based onsite in Desford. This is a 12-month contract offering a pay rate of £26.54 per hour PAYE or £36.34 per hour via umbrella, with an ASAP start. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:30, and Friday, 08:00–12:30, with some flexibility around start and finish times. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, EHS, and join an established team of 8 EHS professionals. Please note that this is a full‑time onsite position, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available.

This role will support the planning and execution of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) projects across the site — with a strong focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and driving forward the EHS strategic agenda.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll lead and contribute to a portfolio of high‑impact EHS initiatives. You’ll bring resilience, structure, and energy to an evolving team environment, and play a key part in maintaining operational safety excellence.
