Your future role

Could you be the full‑time Environment and Climatic Adaptations (ECA) Engineer to work on project/offer development through the application of engineering instructions, guidelines and established internal processes of the ECA domain?

As an Environment and Climatic Adaptations (ECA) Engineer you will participate in project/offer development through the application of engineering instructions, guidelines and established internal processes of the ECA domain.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Collect and derive Environment and Climatic Adaptations Requirements Specification.
  • Liaise with ECA engineers from other Alstom sites to gather relevant Return of Experience (REX) from previous projects.
  • Participate in tenders (review customer clause by clause; define validation criteria).
  • Engage in project execution (calculations, specification, conception support for normal operational performance of the trainset).
  • Partake in validation (checking design conformity to the external and internal requirements, and involvement in train level type test during build phase).
  • Prepare and lead in a Design Review for Environmental and Climatic Adaptation.
  • Contribute to Core Competency Network (CCN) (internal continuous improvement and R&D activities).
  • Participate in R&D projects and work packages.
