Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Technician

Location: North England & Midlands (travel required; head office in Warrington)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus company vehicle for business travel
Contract: Permanent - Full time

About the Role

We're looking for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join a fast-growing organisation operating across the minerals, aggregates recycling, waste management, and landfill sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in environmental compliance and sustainability.

In this role you will carry out environmental monitoring, materials sampling and laboratory analysis, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

  • Confident using IT systems (MS Office suite)
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental monitoring (groundwater, landfill gas, surface water) across multiple sites
  • Perform weekly sampling of imported soils at operational locations
  • Liaise with laboratories to manage sample logistics and results
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for stakeholders and regulators
  • Analyse and clearly communicate laboratory findings
