Job summary

Moore Kingston Smith in London is seeking an entry-level Technology Risk & Controls Assurance Analyst. You will support the delivery of technology risk and controls assurance across audits, SOC engagements, and regulatory audits, gaining exposure to ITGCs, ITACs, and data flows.

As an entry-level role, you will receive structured TRCA training and work under supervision, with a clear path to ISACA CISA qualification. Progression depends on performance, training completion, and exam success.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, IS, cyber security, or engineering with relevant knowledge.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn audit methodology and technology risk concepts.
• Commitment to professional development, including CISA qualification with support.

Responsibilities

• Support ITGC and IT Application Control testing under supervision
• Assist with walkthroughs of business processes, systems, and controls with narratives and data flows
• Collect evidence (screenshots, logs, configurations) and index it robustly
• Prepare audit workpapers to MKS methodology with clear conclusions
• Assist RACMs and key reports/IPE listings
• Liaise with client personnel to request evidence and resolve queries
• Escalate issues to engagement leads
• Participate in TRCA training and maintain records
• Prepare for and complete the ISACA CISA exam in line with role expectations
