Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: GL13 (driver or access to transport required due to location)
Salary: £22,102.72 – £24,103.93 per annum (actual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications)
Additional: £1,000 welcome bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, term-time only

A specialist school for students aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its team. Key Responsibilities
  • Build positive, caring relationships with pupils to foster a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Encourage independence and personal growth while maintaining high behavioural expectations.
  • Support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, helping pupils achieve across all areas of learning.
  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
  • Adapt flexibly to the changing needs of the school.
  • Promote pupils’ cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual development.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
  • Complete documentation related to incidents, health, and behaviour under guidance.
