Rentokil Initial is hiring a Pest Control Technician to cover Bedford and the surrounding areas. No prior experience is required as comprehensive, industry-leading training is provided, and you will manage your own schedule while solving real customer problems in person.

This is a full-time, 40-hour week role with a competitive salary (£27,669 per year) and potential to earn £32,447 OTE through bonuses and commissions.

No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
