Job summary

Multi-Medix Ltd - Ultrasound QA is seeking a Junior Physicist to join our UK-wide ultrasound QA service. You will work with the Physics team on-site at client facilities, assisting with quality assurance testing, fault analysis, and reporting, while travelling regularly to NHS and private sites.

The role offers hands-on training in ultrasound physics, exposure to phantoms and QA software, and clear progression as the company scales. Loughborough-based with travel, salary £26,000–£30,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Medical Physics, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with hands-on equipment work and independent travel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically (overnight trips may be required).
• Strong written and verbal communication for client-facing work.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites (25–50% of time) to perform ultrasound physics testing and QA measurements.
• Operate and calibrate testing equipment and phantoms in clinical/lab environments.
• Document, analyse, and report test results accurately and on schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment or testing issues on-site and escalate as needed.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and safety protocols.
• Support other physics testing and lab duties as assigned.
