Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing is seeking an Associate Scientist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using approved methods and SOPs. The role may involve standing for long periods, handling solvents, glassware and specialized equipment.

The position requires performing routine lab tasks, data recording, instrument operation (GC/MS), and keeping equipment and safety procedures up to date. Strong English, computer skills and a commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with computers
• Professional working proficiency in English, reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard techniques.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC checks.
• Maintain QA documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
