Neil Reading PR is currently recruiting for a Publicist to join their busy Entertainment division, to work on a range of high profile clients across theatre, live entertainment, comedy, TV and podcasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating innovative PR campaigns
  • Pitching stories, features and interviews to journalists
  • Writing press materials
  • Creating client reports
  • Organising press junkets and media days
  • Accompanying talent to interviews
  • Researching feature ideas for clients
  • Working with clients on social media
  • Organising press tickets for journalists
  • Working at press nights and events

It is very important for the successful candidate to have first rate existing contacts across the media with national, regional and online publications, key TV and radio shows and podcast producers.

Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' entertainment PR experience within an agency or in-house
  • Exceptional communication skills and a confident manner
  • Excellent writing skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise accordingly
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Creative, innovative ideas for press releases, stunts and pitches
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Proven experience with social media platforms
