Job Description

The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology‑focused professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, support pre‑sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise.

Role Purpose

As our HR technology practice continues to grow, we are seeking talented individuals with experience of SuccessFactors implementations. This is a high‑profile role within the team, requiring a balance of business development / sales origination and client delivery, including deep solution/configuration experience across Employee Central.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of high‑quality SuccessFactors deployment projects as an Engagement Manager.
  • Provide specialist SuccessFactors advice and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of SuccessFactors through optimal solution design and configuration.
  • Advise clients on the transformational aspects of SuccessFactors in relation to HR operating model, service delivery, and relevant HR process execution (e.g. Employee Central, Onboarding, Absence Management, Payroll, Offboarding).
  • Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract/commercial negotiations with our SuccessFactors clients.
  • Lead the growth of the HR practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership and supporting the career aspirations of team members.
  • Advise on technical integration of the SuccessFactors application with other client and third‑party applications such as payroll, benefits and finance systems.
  • Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement.
  • Lead the implementation of SuccessFactors programs for our clients and integrate with ecosystem partners such as phenom, eightfold.Ai, or others.
Role Dimensions

Leadership & Management: Expected to be a role model to the wider team, showcasing our values, leading by example, and coaching junior management to enable growth within the practice.

Stakeholder Interaction & Challenges: Liaise with stakeholders across the People practice, cross‑collaborate with other teams, and ensure opportunities are shared and explored to maximise our offering to clients.

Essential Experience
  • Strong commercial acumen, a desire to learn and develop, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced working environment.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering SuccessFactors programmes for 5+ end‑to‑end deliveries.
  • Advanced functional understanding of SuccessFactors product, including configuration experience of Employee Central and other modules.
  • Experience in HR leading transformation projects, leading workstreams and managing teams, having held Delivery, Functional or Team Lead roles for 5+ end‑to‑end deliveries.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HR processes and how they map to all key SuccessFactors modules – hire to retire, plus newer HR processes/capabilities in skills and AI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and owned key client leadership relationships during previous deliveries.
  • Comfortable with agile and waterfall methods of working, including leveraging SAP tools/accelerators to support deliveries.
  • Preferably with awareness and experience using non‑SAP tools to streamline delivery, e.g. configuration, data migration.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Well‑developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, synthesising large amounts of information.
  • Experience in a functional and/or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment, preferably in the HR sector, with solution architecting experience including all technical aspects – environments, data, integration, module phasing, reporting/analytics cutover and go‑live planning.
  • Experience producing project deliverables (business requirements, functional specs, configuration documents, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively transfer knowledge and adapt the approach according to the situation.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members.
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR, Recruitment (incl. Onboarding), Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent Hub, Performance and Talent or Case Management business applications – an advantage.
  • Experience as a configuration expert and/or project manager of enterprise software deployments.
  • Travel required (up to 80%).
