Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building a dedicated Security Services Solutions Architect team to accelerate enterprise security adoption across industry verticals. You will own architecture, validation, and customer outcomes for a named portfolio of top customers, partnering with a Security Specialist Seller.

You will lead security strategy, engage CISOs and security leaders, and shape the AWS security services roadmap while delivering scalable assets and architecture guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Experience communicating across executive stakeholders.
• Experience in IT development or implementation in software/Internet industries.
• Experience in design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with presentations to executives, IT, management and developers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as long-term security architect for defined enterprise customers within one to two industry verticals guiding adoption of AWS security services from discovery through launch readiness.
• Operate as part of a two-person team with a Security Specialist Seller; own solution architecture, validation, and customer confidence; seller handles opportunity origination and deal strategy.
• Drive adoption of AWS Security Services portfolio across three motions: deepen adoption, enable CISO relationships, and support competitive displacement.
• Lead technical conversations with CISOs and VP-level security leaders including architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Help customers architect security for generative AI workloads.
• Translate customer friction and market evolutions into structured product feedback shaping AWS security services roadmap.
• Publish reusable assets (reference architectures, blogs, workshops) that scale impact beyond engagements.
• Own at least one team-level initiative per year to raise the function's bar.
