Job description
Overview

This is a remote role, however we require the successful candidate to live within a commutable distance of London to attend in-person meetings and collaboration sessions. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our risk management framework across Group functions - including Finance, People, and Legal. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll manage risks within appetite, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement in enterprise risk practices.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior leaders across Group functions.
  • Partnering with these teams to identify, assess, and manage operational and strategic risks.
  • Supporting and coordinating the delivery of risk framework components through proactive business partnering.
  • Facilitating the review and update of risk appetite statements and ensuring regular reporting against key metrics.
  • Managing the maintenance and review of Group policies to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
  • Leading Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to ensure an accurate understanding of the risk landscape.
  • Developing effective processes for capturing and reporting risk events, analysing root causes, and identifying trends.
  • Tracking issues and actions, ensuring timely resolution and accountability across functions.
  • Producing regular risk reports to support ongoing leadership engagement and decision-making.
  • Providing expert risk management support for functional initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Identifying and managing emerging and horizon risks that could impact Group operations.
  • Coaching and mentoring first-line colleagues to build strong risk awareness and management capability.
Qualifications
