Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Enterprise Process Expert for the ESG workstream within the Axial programme, a global S/4HANA deployment. You will support SIT/UAT, plan deployment activities and align ESG strategies with BAU and local deployment teams in the UK and beyond.

The role focuses on sustainability reporting, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams to deliver the ESG governance framework during the 24-month FTC.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting.
• Experience designing and implementing ESG process changes to enable business decisions.
• Ability to explain complex ESG concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment between Axial and BAU sustainability efforts and contribute to the Sustainability digital strategy.
• Foster strong connections with deployment teams across locations including UK.
• Support SIT and UAT for the new SAP technologies (SFM and SCT).
• Prepare and deploy across the organisation ahead of UK go-live.
• Lead and partner with global teams to ensure clear roles and responsibilities at go-live.

The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with

standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and

real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.

Introduction to role:

In this role. you will be supporting the Axial ESG workstream at a critical time through the remaining part of the pioneer phase with deployment two new strategic SAP technologies Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM) and Sustainability Control Tower (SCT). Additionally, as the programme to the next phase you will be involved in planning, preparation and deployment throughout the organisation.

What you'll do:

• Drive close alignment between Axial and BAU sustainability efforts, which includes contributing to the Sustainability digital strategy to drive the company's broader sustainability goals.
• Fostering strong connections between Axial and key stakeholders across local deployment teams (i.e. Mexico and UK), ensuring communication and alignment throughout project phases.
• Working with the relevant teams to support a successful SIT and UAT for the new technology.
• Working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure adequate preparation ahead of the UK go-live
• Clarify roles and responsibilities at go-live, making sure that the local UK team, global sustainability team, and Axial team all understand their duties and expectations.
• Significant experience and expertise in ESG strategy and reporting
• Applied domain knowledge of ESG requirements and the changing landscape, including the ability to explain sophisticated concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Experience of designing and implementing process change to enable business decision making in ESG disciplines
• Demonstated SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data and process integrate within an SAP architecture
• Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of global transformation solutions
• Proven ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures
• Good communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
• Ability to lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome
• Consistent track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved
• Demonstrated project leadership skills
