Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Data Architect for enterprise OT asset data products in London, on a hybrid basis. This six-month contract (umbrella only) focuses on designing scalable data architectures for asset data with governance and traceability.

You will define target architectures, champion standards for metadata, schema and lineage, and collaborate with IoT, SCADA replacement and analytics teams to ensure consistent, usable data.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise data architecture across conceptual, logical and canonical models.
• Proven metadata, lineage management and data quality capabilities.
• Experience designing reusable data products with governance frameworks.
• Ability to translate fragmented OT source structures into consistent models.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and driving practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the target data architecture for enterprise OT asset data products, including logical/conceptual models and canonical structures.
• Ensure electricity transmission asset data is structured, contextualised and aligned to the Enterprise Data Model—so it's reusable across the organisation.
• Create clear standards for data products (metadata, schema definitions, quality rules, lineage, refresh requirements, ownership, stewardship and version control).
• Develop modelling and normalisation patterns for time-series, event, alarm, measurement and file-based data—while preserving traceability across sources.
• Work closely with initiatives across IoT, intelligent substations, SCADA replacement, enterprise asset management and analytics platforms to align delivery with governance.
