Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Data Science Expert for a fully remote contract role with hourly compensation of $60–$70. You will lead enterprise data science initiatives, build predictive models, and guide analytics governance for high-impact clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science or ML engineering within Fortune 500 environments, strong tooling fluency (Snowflake, Databricks, Python/R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI), and a track record of delivering production-grade analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as data scientist, analytics leader, or ML engineer in enterprise-scale environments.
• Direct ownership of analytics initiatives or ML systems in production.
• Experience with governance and privacy in enterprise data.

Responsibilities

• Construct enterprise data science scenarios for large-scale predictive modeling and analytics governance.
• Develop analytics tasks across ML model development, data pipelines, and BI at scale.
• Build data science and MLOps scenarios using Snowflake, Databricks, Python/R, SQL, and BI tools.
