Job summary

Based in London, Brighton or Burgess Hill, the role focuses on data architecture across enterprise and domain modelling, governance and integration patterns. You will guide delivery teams and ensure scalable, well-governed data solutions.

The role emphasises domain modelling, architecture governance, and collaboration with architecture, business and engineering teams to deliver resilient data systems.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise and domain data-modelling fundamentals.
• Domain-driven design and CQRS knowledge.
• OLTP and transactional-system experience.
• Conceptual, logical and physical modelling experience.
• Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into data architecture designs.
• Produce domain, conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Design scalable solutions for transactional and enterprise systems.
• Define data integration patterns and architecture standards.
• Contribute to data strategy and architecture-governance reviews.
• Produce clear architecture documentation, presentations and technical artefacts.
• Assess technology options and clearly explain recommendations and trade-offs.
• Support modernisation, migration and transformation initiatives.
• Work with developers and engineering teams to implement the agreed architecture.
• Include performance, resilience, scalability and disaster-recovery considerations within designs.
